Weekend O' Fire

Thursday night Robin,Mandic,and Haley went to the Chop Tops show.Got drunk,saw old friends,had lots o' fun.

Friday: I woke up late for work,not because I was hungover but because I thought that I was working at 10:30am.So I had to stay an extra hour not a big deal until I left work and got stuck in a MOTHER FUCKING BUS FIRE on the Bridge! What was a 20 min trip turned into a 2 hour ordeal. When I got to Robins house, we started our 45 min journey back to NJ for One Crazy Summer.Too bad I'm an idiot and got lost and now made it there in 1 hour and about 30 mins.

Saturday: BBQ at P5(One Crazy Summer)

AWESOME: inflatable pool,seeing lots o' friends,hot tub fun ;),the way I fell asleep double ;)

NOT AWESOME: pool water temp,not being able to drink as much because of working early next day,loud drunken asshole loud mouths that wouldn't let me sleep,3 pump hump.

Sunday: Wake up and go to work.All was good till the guy with 85% of his body burned came in and need my help with drums.

So even though I found out that I'm not getting a commission check next month,a pretty interesting aspect of my job was revealed to me.Musicians on tour come to our store to get stuff that they need for their selves.I know that I heard that it happens but it happened to me yesterday.The Chop Tops came in and we busted each others balls for a little bit and shot the shit,smoked some cigs with them and the other band they are on tour with and got put on the list for Thursdays show.The drummer even said he's getting me the first round.

Let's say it was a weird mix of "Last Action Hero","Back to the Future","Jurassic Park",and "Evil Dead". The dream enlisted all of the Xanadont and Philly players as well. Picture an old movie theater from the 40's with multiple floors and 5 theaters, a little run down but running. Somehow we managed to rent the place to watch movies. At one point dinosaurs were coming out of the screen on other monsters or whatever on the others. Most of the dream consisted of stockpiling weapons ranging from knives to axes and guns to a chainsaw. Suprisingly the was no sex in the dream but at one point I remember traveling through time to go back and figure out why this was going on in the theater. What a dream but seemed fun.
